Ava · live
AvaThanks for calling Summit Heating & Air, this is Ava. How can I help?
CallerMy AC stopped blowing cold air and it’s 104 out.
AvaI’m sorry, that’s miserable in this heat. Is anyone at home elderly, an infant, or with a medical condition?
CallerMy mom’s 80.
AvaI’m marking this priority. Emergency diagnostic is $149, credited toward the repair. I can get a technician there tonight between 6 and 8. Should I book that?
CallerYes.
AvaDone. You’ll get a text confirmation, and I’ve alerted the on-call team.

The leak

On weekends, 4 in 10 of your calls go unanswered.

Those are $350 repairs and $7,500 installs. Invoca found 27% of home-services calls go unanswered overall — 18% on weekdays, 41% on weekends — and answered phone leads convert at 46%.

A heat wave and a cold snap hit at the same moment the owner is on a roof. You can’t staff a receptionist for a Saturday you only get six times a year. Housecall Pro puts the cost of one missed call around $1,200.

One recovered replacement is about nine months of the Growth plan. Human answering services charge $384–$915 a month for 100 calls, and they still can’t book into Jobber.

How it works

From a ringing phone to a name on the board.

  1. 01

    Forward the line

Conditional call forwarding, so the shop phone still rings first if you only want overflow. Nothing on the trucks changes on day one.

  2. 02

    Ava answers in two rings

She greets the caller, takes the name, phone, address, and what’s wrong, and sorts no-heat and no-AC from a tune-up or a replacement quote.

  3. 03

    Emergencies hit the board

A vulnerable person in the house is marked priority. Gas smell or a carbon monoxide alarm stops the script: leave the home, call 911 and the gas utility, and a human is flagged.

  4. 04

    Missed calls text back

If the ring still dies, a text goes out within 60 seconds and the thread can book the job. You see the transcript, the flag, and the estimated revenue.

What you get

A front desk that knows a no-heat call from a tire-kicker.

24/7 voice receptionist
Trained on your services, service area, diagnostic fees, maintenance plan, and emergency rules. A recording disclosure plays at the start of every call.
No-heat and no-AC triage
Outages are urgent. Ava asks whether anyone home is elderly, an infant, or medically fragile, then offers the next emergency window.
Gas and CO safety script
Those calls do not get a technician in the house. The caller is told to leave and to call 911 and the gas utility. The board shows a safety escalation.
Books onto your board
This demo writes the job to Summit’s calendar. In production the same handoff lands in Jobber, Housecall Pro, or a calendar for shops on neither.
Missed-call text-back
Within 60 seconds, plus the same intake on the thread. Web-form and Google Business follow-up sit on the Growth plan.

Guarantee

“Two booked jobs in your first 30 days, or month two is free.”

If you use the integration and we still miss, cancel with no exit fee. We will not promise a recovered-revenue dollar figure. The owner board shows an estimate from Angi averages so you can see the math — $350 a repair, about $7,500 a replacement — and the weekly report in production is the retention tool, not a forecast.

Questions owners actually ask

How fast can we go live?

Seven days. Day 0 is a 30-minute kickoff for services, pricing, the service area, and the on-call roster. After-hours goes live first. Day 7 turns on 24/7 and overflow.

What if the caller smells gas or the CO alarm is going off?

Ava tells them to leave the home and call 911 and the gas utility. She does not dispatch a technician inside until emergency services clear it, and the owner board flags a safety escalation for a human.

What counts as an emergency?

No heat and no cooling. The emergency diagnostic in the Summit demo is $149, credited toward the repair. A tune-up or a replacement quote takes a daytime window instead.

Where do the jobs actually go?

In this demo, onto Summit Heating & Air’s board. In production, Jobber or Housecall Pro, or a calendar if the shop has neither. ServiceTitan shops are a later conversation — API access there is arranged through their team.

How does this compare to a human answering service?

Human services run about $384–$915 a month for 100 calls, and they don’t book into Jobber. Smith.ai live answering is $915 at that volume. ComfortLine is month-to-month after the first 90 days, with overage at $0.25 a minute.

What does the guarantee actually promise?

Two booked jobs in the first 30 days, or month two is free. If you use the integration and we still miss, you can cancel with no exit fee. We don’t promise a revenue number.

Can you call my customers about maintenance plans?

Only on the Pro tier, and only people who already opted in. Outbound AI or prerecorded calls need prior express written consent under the TCPA.

Can I hear it before a sales call?

Yes. The live demo answers as Summit Heating & Air, a fictional Denver shop. Use the phone in your browser, or type. Then open the owner board and watch the job land.
